I loved working with kids, and being able to teach a sport I love.
What I wish was different
I would have loved a little more practice time with the kids, but it is a summer league so I understood why that was not feasible.
Advice
Communicate things clearly to your bosses, it really helps when customers/clients/etc. get frustrated, the manager can then have your back.

What I liked
I really enjoyed that not every day was the same. You met new people every day but at the same time, the regular members would come in. They would usually come in on their usual days and remember your face so it's easy to have a conversation.
What I wish was different
Sometimes I would wish that I got a different set of hours. I would typically work the mornings and it was a little slower rather then the night shifts that were more rapid and exciting.
Advice
I always stay positive no matter what situation you're put into. If a customer is rude or in a rush just stay patient with them and get what they need.
