With over 40 million in funded grants, faculty are addressing key issues confronting education, including the impact of childhood poverty on the developing brain, parenting practices, adolescent motivation, socio-emotional development, working memory and plasticity, second language acquisition, digital learning, society and culture, and teacher development and professional practice. Undergraduates through doctoral candidates are encouraged to join faculty research labs and centers to hone their skills by working directly with senior scholars.
