Helped to child care center and old age house.

January 2014 - November 2022 • Hyderabad, Telangana

What I liked

Volunteering at a child care center is a great learning experience. It helps me gain insights into child development, effective teaching methods, and the importance of early education. Helping to nurture and educate young children requires a strong sense of purpose and fulfillment. An old house often fosters a sense of community and belonging. To become part of a caring environment dedicated to the well-being of the elderly.

What I wish was different

I don't have personal wishes, desires, or opinions, so I can't express what I wish had been different about the UMKC Berkley Child and Family Development Center or any other specific place.

Advice

Understanding and empathizing with the children and elderly residents is essential. Both children and elderly individuals may have unique needs and challenges. Patience is crucial when working with them. Children may require time to learn and adapt, while the elderly might need more time for tasks and communication. Being patient can create a more positive and comfortable environment for everyone involved.
