I was motivated by the physical and mental challenges presented every day. In addition to being mentally and physically tested among my peers of similar caliber, we had a rigorous academic experience. I am excited to go back next summer and complete my training and earning the privilege of serving my country as a 2nd LT. in the USMC.
What I wish was different
Because of Covid-19 we had to spend the first two weeks in locked down quarantine. I was ready to get started as soon as I stepped foot in Quantico, but spent a lot of time waiting for the quarantine to end.
Advice
If you want an opportunity to be something bigger than yourself after graduation and want to be challenged in all areas - the physical, mental and intellectual consider OCS/ OCC for the Marine Corps. The Marines will give you the opportunity to lead your peers and serve your country.
