I loved being able to work closly under a Nephrologist MD/ Ph.D. scientist who was performing forefront molecular physiology research on kidney diseases.
What I wish was different
Some days would be unproductive as the kidney cell lines were growing, so I wish my program would've provided something to fill this time.
Advice
Make sure you stay up to date with the current literature about your individual project so that you will be well suited to participate in team discussions.
