I loved how open my PI was about the projects that I could do there. The University of Delaware has such an open and responsive scientific community that allowed for optimal growth for a young researcher like myself.
What I wish was different
Nothing at all.
Advice
It was an awesome experience to do research alongside other motivated and fun students. I would encourage anyone not to be afraid of “research” and apply to an REU!
