I enjoyed working within a university. I had a chance to interact with prospective students still in high school, current university students, professors, and other staff members.
What I wish was different
I wish I had received more on-the-job training, but since it was a temporary summer position, I was only given the basic training.

What I liked
Great opportunity to make new connections at a high level Division I University. It provided a chance to work under some fantastic ATCs and develop my own professional abilities as an Athletic Trainer.

Had more time with the university

Be willing to put yourself out there and try new things. Do not be afraid to make mistakes, now is the time to learn and grow from them.
