I like having the interaction with visitors and being able to tell them about the museum. My favorite part is when they’re on their way out and stop by to tell me about their visit and what exhibitions/pièces they’ve liked the most! It is also so much fun and great learning experience getting to volunteer with the Harn staff.
What I wish was different
I wish I could’ve stayed for longer.
Advice
Go out your comfort zone and try new things. This was my second year volunteering at the Harn and every year I feel like I learn more about art and know how to appreciate museums more and more.
