What I liked
It was great to spend the summer working outdoors and I learned many useful gardening skills that I hope to use in the future. The people that work here, as well as the volunteers that come through, are all wonderful and make working here worthwhile on their own.
What I wish was different
The program was not terribly organized at the start of the summer, though as the season went on the situation greatly improved. I can't imagine similar problems being present going forward.
Advice
Never be scared to ask for advice. The work may seem overwhelming at first, but everyone there is friendly and is happy to help you.
