The job was relatively flexible. We worked with kids and led them in games, bible stories, and camps. I liked the amount of time we got off to explore Colorado Springs, the team of interns that was our built on support, and how much our bosses cared for us.
What I wish was different
I spent a lot of time in an office with one other intern, which got difficult after a while. Our boss did not alway know what to have us do, so I had to be really proactive to find things so that I was not bored.
Advice
This job is a great way to figure out if you want to work with kids, but if you don’t really like to play games with kids and entertain them, don’t take it.
