How welcoming everyone is at VAM and how professional they treat everyone. They are extremely interested in teaching everyone about to help manage their finances. They considered themselves a hospital in the financial world, as in, they can help families or individuals, or small and large businesses achieve their financial goals. I enjoyed getting to learn about everything Virginia Asset Management has to offer. I can't say enough great things about them.
What I wish was different
Due to Covid-19 our internship had to be modified and we were not in the office as much as we'd like, understandably so.
Advice
If you have any desire to become a financial professional in some capacity, I highly recommend trying to get your foot in the door at VAM first before you trying somewhere like Mass Mutual or Northwestern Mutual. VAM does things differently and really provide you with everything you need to be successful.

What I liked
I loved the opportunity I had to work closely with my mentor and other people in the company. It helped me figure out if this type of industry is something that I would want to have a career in.
