I was placed on real deal teams and got to do real, applicable work on live deals. I had a lot of responsibility and autonomy as long as I got my work done.
What I wish was different
Training wasn’t quite what it could have been. The internship program is new, however, so I have faith that it will be continually improved.
Advice
Don’t be afraid to ask questions - whether it’s about going out for coffee, clarifying what you should be doing, or asking for more responsibility.
