I loved the fact that a worst case scenario internship wound up being the best case possible. I got to work with some amazing mentors who showed me the true inner workings of a corporation and allowed me to lead some real projects helping produce revenue and change the direction of the firm.
What I wish was different
I wish I wasn't the only full time intern in the company! Even having 5 or 6 other interns would have been a great stepping stone for me.
Advice
Never judge the company you're working for or the people you're working with at first glance. Sometimes you can learn a lot about yourself and your skill set in an unlikely situation!
