Marketing Intern

May - August 2020 • San Francisco, CA

What I liked

Since this was my first marketing internship, I loved learning new skills and other marketing tools. For example, I learned how to use MailChimp to create emails. Furthermore, I received great feedback from my marketing work when I had the opportunity to present my work to a Social Media Director at Complex.

What I wish was different

I wish the internship would've been in-person, but due to COVID, it was remote.

Advice

Even though this internship was unpaid, I was still able to take away a lot from it. My advice is if a position interests you, apply even if its unpaid. It will make your resume standout with experience, you'll learn new skills, and you'll also make new connections.
