I loved being involved with a campaign and seeing how one functions from within the inside. The 2018 midterm elections are incredibly critical and I am very happy I got to do my part by being apart of one.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been paid.
Advice
Intern for a campaign if you have the passion and drive to be involved with a campaign! If the passion is sincere, then doing the job will not seem that difficult. But it's a lot of hard work for no pay, so it's really only worth it if you genuinely have the drive for it.
