The teamwork was fantastic and we had wonderful customer service at our branch.

The company as a whole could have treated branches better. We were a very good branch and worked hard.

Don't get disheartened if you are not sure what certain products are. Learn and practice :)

What I liked

I liked learning more about how boats operate and the mechanic side of it. Also I got to meet many different kinds of people and learn things about places I’ve never been.

What I wish was different

Being a young teenage girl working in a place that is usually male dominated, customers felt the need to constantly hit on me or make inappropriate passes. My coworkers were awesome at teaching me how to stick up for myself, and I learned not to let anyone get me down.

Advice

Just because you’re working in a male dominated field or receive passive aggressive remarks from people with a higher status than you, does not mean you have to take it. It’s okay to speak up for yourself and your beliefs.
