The role had the same level of responsibility as a full-time position. Compliance offered many different perspectives of the different teams throughout the company. It was a great way to learn a lot of information about fixed-income and asset management in a relatively short amount of time.
What I wish was different
Advice
Compliance is not for everyone. It is very routine and some may find it mundane. However, it does involve critical thinking and problem solving. For an intern, compliance will allow you to learn many details about a company and regulation that you cannot learn in a classroom environment.
