What I liked

The people. The management is good and they care about their employees.

What I wish was different

Scheduling is kind of crazy and disorganized and it seems to work that way at other locations as well.

Advice

Whataburger is definitely a great place to start with a first time job. They can totally help you and teach you so when you have to leave, it’s not starting from scratch somewhere else, you already have a good foundation. Specifically in food service.

What I liked

I loved everyone I worked with. It was a supportive environment and everyone was very friendly.

What I wish was different

I was pretty happy with everything! But if I had to change something maybe I’d say we could put a chair for the cashiers.

Advice

It’s very fast paced, so you need to be quick. It’s fairly easy to learn after training, so make sure to observe people around you and see what they’re doing.

That I got to interact with people, and that I was able to get a discount on my food.

What I wish was different

I wish I would have been more confident in myself to do the other work my coworkers were doing

Advice

Don’t be ashamed of where you’re working, a job is a job. If it pays the bills it shouldn’t matter what other think.
