Willamette University

Undergraduate Research Assistant

June 2023 • Salem, OR

What I liked

It was a fantastic opportunity to dig deep into what it means to research and apply my school knowledge to doing stuff that's actually meaningful and significant.

What I wish was different

That I had gotten more of a chance to do cooler stuff but that's only because the research was done over a short period of time, and the cool stuff is still a little further out

Advice

Getting the chance to do research at Willamette with a professor that's really awesome is a chance that's unbelievably hard to pass up on, especially if you're interested in going into acadmeica.
