Working in the media industry requires confidence. You have to be comfortable talking to anyone and in any situation. The more confident you are, the better your experience will likely be.

What I liked
I liked that I worked for the TV station in my hometown for the station I grew up watching. It was great being able to cover local sports throughout three months and working in a TV News Station office environment. I liked the opportunities made available and the ability to have my work critiqued.
What I wish was different
I wish that I would have had a set schedule rather than just being assigned miscellaneous days.
Advice
Know the basics of digital media and broadcast journalism before the internship.
