What I liked

I like how we were assigned mentors to help us grow professionally if you knew what you wanted to explore. I liked how we all had different experiences within the same industry. I liked how they housed us in good areas of town with cheap rent. I like being out of my element personally getting to drive across the country and seeing the beach. I love being able to use the amenities at our property.

What I wish was different

I wish I didn't have to pay transportation to get there. I didn't appericate getting paid less than Whataburger for the area. I wish we had more time spend with all the interns as a whole and more exploration through the company. Those are knit picking things, overall I would go back over and over again.

Advice

I would advise to learn the area beforehand. Plan out trips for excursions like parasailing etc. Take the experience for what it is not what you expected it to be. Live it up! Go out and explore! You won't be treated like a number if you try to communicate with your superiors.
