What I liked
Got to work with children in the age range of my degree outside of a totally educational setting. Worked with kids from 5-15 and had a ton of fun on field trips, park time, water games, etc. Very fun environment for work.
What I wish was different
Work schedule and hours were unpredictable and inconsistent at times.
Advice
Keep a good attitude because your job is to make camp exciting for kids. If you aren't into an activity they can tell and will be bored or act out because of it.

What I liked
It was a great experience, I definitely grew as a person and as a leader. I kind of figured out what I want to do with my career and that is working with kids.
What I wish was different
I wish the amount of kids that are in one setting. There is a lot and sometimes that is hard to handle.
Advice
Get sleep, it’s fun to go out and all, but this job will get you tired. Have fun, these kids will love you, hate you but at the end they love having that big sister or brother role model around.
