What I liked

BoxScore was amazing to work for. They gave me significant responsibilities and were helpful as I learned my role. The majority of my work was new to me, but all BoxScore employees were extremely helpful and willing to listen to my input. Patrick also helped me to begin networking within the startup world in Indianapolis.

What I wish was different

I wish I could have used some more technical data science techniques that I have learned in my studies. Most of my work was in business intelligence which was completely new to me.

Advice

Do not be afraid to ask questions and admit when you don't know what to do. They will be very understanding and encouraging and you will learn significantly more through the experience.
