Community First Credit Union

About Community First Credit Union

Community First was established in 1975 to improve the quality of our members' lives by providing them with high quality, competitive financial products and services that anticipate and exceed their needs. We strive to be our members' primary financial services provider by:

* Earning and maintaining member loyalty and trust
* Maintaining a balance between sound growth, earnings and reserves
* Providing a challenging and rewarding environment for our employees
* Contributing to the well-being of the communities we serve

With assets of over $5 billion, Community First Credit Union serves more than 149,000 members in 12 counties in Northeastern and Central Wisconsin with 26 full service branches. We are governed by a Board of Directors that establishes and reviews policies. Our directors are Community First members who are elected by the membership and serve without pay.

We call it Meraki - It’s a Greek word meaning to do something with soul, creativity and love; to put something of yourself into your work. The experience is difficult to put to words, but you feel it when it’s there. Meraki expresses how we choose to serve our member-owners, our communities and each other. It motivates us to provide exceptional experiences and fills us with the satisfaction that comes from making a difference in the lives of others.

Our commitment to community involvement stems from a fundamental belief that as a business we want to reach beyond providing jobs and income. We want to be active participants in the communities we serve, partnering with our neighbors to make a real difference in people's lives. We partner with over 400 organizations in the communities we serve.

Marketing Intern

May 2019 - August 2019 Santa Rosa, CA
“I absolutely loved getting to experience marketing firsthand. My boss and coworkers were so helpful and informative when it came to marketing. The woman I was working with had a baby during the summer so I was able to fill her shoes and take on bigger projects than most interns get to do.”
