I absolutely loved getting to experience marketing firsthand. My boss and coworkers were so helpful and informative when it came to marketing. The woman I was working with had a baby during the summer so I was able to fill her shoes and take on bigger projects than most interns get to do.
What I wish was different
I wish I had interned in an industry other than finance because that's not the industry that I want to work in after college.
Advice
If you think you won't get a job or internship but you are interested, apply anyways because you might surprise yourself. I didn't think I had enough qualifications to work in Marketing but my academic experience proved me wrong and I flourished under this position.

I love the members that come in each day I get to form a relationship with them and my coworkers quickly became my friends over the summer.

I wish I could have started this job before last summer.
Advice
If you want to work for a company keep trying. I didn’t get into community first so I tried again and I got hired right away because they recognized me.
