Organized in 1933, H2M architects + engineers was initially oriented toward the planning and design of municipal infrastructure projects. The company's capabilities have since grown to include complete full professional services in sustainable architecture, engineering, environmental services, and construction administration. H2M maintains offices in Melville, Albany, Suffern, New York City, Purchase, NY and Wall Township & Parsippany, NJ and Winsor, CT with a total staff of over 475+ engineers, architects, planners, construction inspectors, environmental scientists, hydrogeologists, geologists, related technical specialists and support staff.

“I speak very highly about my internship experience at H2M. I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge that has helped me so far this school year. I assisted project engineers with the design of various structural components using ASCE and AISC design codes and manuals. I shadowed project engineers on site visits to inspect conditions, perform measurements, and monitor certain stages of construction. I also learned how to draft and edit details on Revit, build models on STAAD, and properly use Enercalc to check designs.”
