What I liked

The workplace culture was friendly and fun, and the people there were motivated and more than willing to help or educate when asked. From my time in school, I had not ever heard of the pneumatic conveying industry, but the work was interesting, stimulating, and a wonderful learning experience.

What I wish was different

Advice

If you want to challenge yourself and learn more about project management while still being able to apply your skills as a chemical engineer, HaF Equipment is a great place to do it.

What I liked

The people at HaF Equipment have a deep desire to do quality work as well as being quality people to work with. Everyone from the top-down have a strong desire to building a healthy work-office culture. This makes collaborating, attending meetings, and just the work in general that much more enjoyable.

What I wish was different

Advice

If you are an engineer looking for a healthy company to work for, then HaF is a good fit for you. They manage their expectations of interns very well and each employee at HaF is always willing to take the extra 5 minutes to help out with anything and everything.

What I liked

The culture immediately stood out to me. Everyone is extremely welcoming and willing to help. It is easy to see that everyone's goals are aligned, regardless of their job title. It was exciting to be a part of a company on the path that HaF is on.

What I wish was different

It was all fantastic and grew my technical and sales skills.

Advice

I learned many things specific to this industry but almost everything I learned can be applied to my day to day life so be a sponge to everything, even if it isn't applicable to the tasks you are working on.
