Leaders of the Free World(LFW) is an international experience and leadership development program for young Black men. Our mission is to develop dynamic leaders who are globally-minded, self-aware, and service-driven.
The Leaders of the Free World program works on a national level and incorporates personal & professional development, cultural exchange, and mentorship, with a particular (but not exclusive) focus on community college students. Along with the opportunity for international exposure , our students engage in learning and reflection activities, before, during, and after their trip; that target social and psychological barriers to academic success and retention.
LFW’s goal is to create a network of leaders whose development impacts their own lives and their communities; grooming the next generation of changemakers, entrepreneurs, and mentors.
