I enjoyed having an inside look into the organuzation. Working at such a small museum in Minnesota allowed me access to meetings and professional work that I would not have recieved at another museum space almost anywhere else, especially at home in New York.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been able to spend more time there, which would have allowed me to gain a fuller experience in the space. I got mono in July so I had to severly shorten my trip there, which was unfortunate.
Advice
Confidence, but always be open to asking questions. Knowing that it was okay to be unsure about what I was doing helped me be a better worker and provide more asisstance to those I was helping out throughout my stay.
