The Mosholu Montefiore Community Center offers FREE Afterschool programs at its Beacon and Cornerstone sites.
These Programs also provide engaging, high-quality, year-round programs for adults and young people. The programs are designed to help participants acquire the skills and attitudes they need to graduate from high school, succeed in their chosen career, and give back to the community.

“I was able to develop communicative, counseling and social skills that are applicable for any professional setting. Through working within an after-school program, I designed extracurricular activities and team building exercises that encouraged our students to be active! I enjoyed having the freedom to exhibit my strengths as an employee through lesson planning and was inspired through the relationships I’ve established with my group along the way. The networks created is definitely something I am grateful for and I received a promotion within 7 months!”
