National Australia Bank Limited is an international banking group which operates in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Asia and the United States. OVERVIEW
National Australia Bank (NAB) is one of Australia's Big Four banks (along with ANZ, Westpac, and Commonwealth Bank of Australia). It provides banking, wealth management, and investment banking services in Australia, as well as in New Zealand through its Bank of New Zealand (BNZ) subsidiary. NAB also offers debt, risk management, and investment products for institutional clients. The company and its subsidiaries have more than 1,500 branches and service centers in the two regions. During 2015, the bank announced it would sell its Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank subsidiaries in the UK and its Great Western Bancorp subsidiary in the US to focus on its top markets in Australia and New Zealand.
