Founded in 1990, North American Stainless (NAS) has undertaken several phases of expansion to become the largest, fully integrated stainless steel producer in the U.S. Although we have achieved much in a short period of time, we remain focused on being the leading provider of high-quality stainless steel in the Western Hemisphere.
Our location in Carroll County, Kentucky, enabled us to build a state-of-the-art production facility on 1400 acres near a major interstate highway and with direct access to the Ohio River. As a “greenfield” project, we had the opportunity to plan the plant layout for maximum efficiency and offer the full range of stainless flat and long products with competitive delivery times. With all of NAS’s production lines on site, we avoid the inherent delays that are common in mills with geographically dispersed production sites.
