What I liked

The experience doesn't get better than this. The people are great and helpful, the environment offers all the resources needed, the management is supportive and flexible, and the work is just entertaining and educational. I have learned a lot and I worked on a project that is actually vital for the company which shows the value that PSM considers its interns to have. Each intern gets a dedicated project/s that are clear to follow.

Never hesitate to ask question from day one, and try to work with different people to gain a wider perspective of PSM's work

Engineering Intern

What I liked

The PSM intern program offers a chance to work on and be a part of actual projects that the company will use in the future as opposed to just being assigned busy work. You also really get exposed to a lot of different departments throughout the company which allows you to grow your engineering knowledge and experience. Every single one of the employees that I've met couldn't have been more kind and eager help and teach.

What I wish was different

I only wish that it had been longer than 2 months.

Advice

There are so many resources available to you so don't hesitate to reach out to anyone, as everyone is happy to help and answer any questions that you may have.

What I liked

At PSM, they treat you like family. I honestly haven’t met anyone that I don’t like. The atmosphere is very welcoming and low stress.

What I wish was different

I truly enjoyed every aspect of working here and would not change any of my experiences for the world.

The people at PSM are amazing resources to learn something new, take advantage of the wisdom that runs through this company

What I liked

It is a company with numerous departments that work together so you're always learning a lot of stuff from other departments. Although It is an internship, A lot of responsibility is given to you on work that is tangible and required by the company.

What I wish was different

Time was adjusted for various projects i.e. some projects can't be finished within 6 weeks.

Advice

Be ready to be flexible in your thinking and ready to absorb a huge amount of information. Keep an upbeat attitude and it will be a life-altering experience!

Marketing Intern

What I liked

I loved the company culture, everyone was so welcoming and friendly. HR worked really hard to make this a beneficial experience for all of the interns involved. We were kept in constant communication thorough the onboarding process and encouraged to ask questions. I was able to work on many different projects that were important to the company which really allowed me to develop as a professional. I liked that I was treated like a regular employee instead of an Intern.

What I wish was different

Nothing I had an amazing experience.

Advice

Prepare to be challenged and learn a lot in a short amount of time. Make the most of your time at this company you will be surrounded by many industry experts make sure to take advantage of the recourses provided for you these connections are incredibly important.
