University College has the responsibility to assure the quality, effectiveness and staffing of academic programs and courses offered at Temple campuses, centers, and other off-site locations. University College coordinates the academic offerings of Temple University's Ambler, Center City and Harrisburg campuses as well as extension services, distance/online learning and summer programs.
University College assures a full and regular rotation of courses offered at locations for which it is responsible. It also oversees and monitors the assignment and appointment of the faculty at those campuses, centers and locations to assure that programs and courses offered there are staffed by persons who demonstrate outstanding credentials, experience, and performance. A central focus for University College is keeping regional campuses connected to Temple's mission and organization.
