May - August 2018 • Riverdale, UT
What I liked
I really liked the liberty I was given, to complete my tasks without micro-management. I had a wide range of tasks as well.

Advice
Be self motivated. There's a lot you can do at the Riverton Office Building, come hungry for work and unafraid of new experiences and you can accomplish much here.

They’re not looking for the smartest people, but rather the people with a desire to learn as much as they can.

Living abroad not only gave me a chance to learn Mandarin and interact with many diverse people every day, it also highlighted the importance of one's environment in developing habits and making choices.

September 2015 - February 2018 • San Francisco, CA
What I liked
I loved spending time with members and getting a personal experience of how to influence people for the better.
What I wish was different
I wish I had done more at times. Especially since I worked in the visitors center. I couldn't take anyone around unless people came in to the building.
Advice
I would say be persistent with anything you do. Don't be afraid to make mistakes, we are supposed to learn from them.

Full Time Missionary
August 2016 • Reno, NV
What I liked
I loved being able to serve all of the people of Norther Nevada. It was a great chance to lose my self serving others.
What I wish was different
I wish that I could have been less judgmental of those that I served with at times.
Advice
Be ready to change. If what you are doing isn't going to change you and help you improve than it really isn't worth doing.

Zone Leader
June 2016 • Fort Lauderdale, FL
What I liked
I loved dedicating all of my time and effort to seeking opportunities to serve others, to teach them what has brought peace and happiness into my life, and to learn so much from the cultural diversity that exists in south Florida. In two years I became fluent in Spanish, I made lifelong relationships, and I gained more life experience than any amount of time I have spent in schooling or work.
What I wish was different
I wish I had dedicated and applied myself even more than I did. Even with all that I learned there were thousands of opportunities that I could have learned from.
Advice
There is nothing more rewarding than losing yourself in selfless service to others in need.

Project Management Intern
April - August 2018 • Riverton, UT
What I liked
The people there are amazing. They all like to make sure you feel that you made a difference, even in a short, summer internship. They include you on many different projects, giving you opportunities to learn a lot.
What I wish was different
The project I was hired to work on had been cancelled shortly before I arrived there, so I didn't have a lot to do, especially at first. I wish there had been one or two major projects for me to work on the entire summer.
Advice
Get in contact with your supervisor before you get there, at least a "hello".
