What I liked

I loved the opportunity to see the inner-workings of the church’s charitable operations. Working with senior missionaries and local department managers gave me professional work experience while providing spiritual uplift ment in the work I contributed to.

What I wish was different

I wish they would provide housing for interns to ease the process of living abroad for this extended period of time.

Advice

Work as a member of the team. Don’t expect to be less of a contributor to the work then those you work with. You contribute just as much and will be treated as an equal by your coworkers.

I wish there would have been a bigger budget for meals and gas (miles driven).

I loved getting to talk with people and tell people about Jesus Christ everyday. I liked being able to serve mankind and give back to God ir atleast try.

I loved it all and cant think of anything problems included thst dint help me to grow.

What I liked

I loved that they trust you enough to treat you as other team member and expect of you to accomplish the same duties that the whole team. Also the manager was really open and he held a meeting every two weeks with me to talk about how the internship was going. You feel really support there.

Advice

Don't be afraid to make mistakes, and don't be prideful ask questions and ask for advices to the people that works there.

Just dive into it! They don't expect you to be perfect, but they do expect you to be able to hold your own. The sooner you get your hands in the code, the better off it'll be.

I was very mismanaged. I wish the expectations of me were more clearly set. I wish that I could have worked with QA automation more than I did.

What I liked

My favorite part about volunteering in Japan was definently the people I was able to work with and meet. I was able to make so many new friends, whom I still keep in contact with today. I was also able to learn Japanese as well as more about the Japanese culture. Japan and it's people have made a big impact on my life, for the better.
